The Making of Soho Place

The Making of Soho Place brings together the four material stories that shaped the building - steel, concrete, travertine and wood - each previously introduced through its own musical composition. In this final film, those stems converge into a single piece, echoing the collective effort behind a project built at one of Londons most notable addresses: 1 Oxford Street.

Blending sound, movement and material, the film acknowledges the many hands involved in bringing Soho Place to life. It offers a quiet study of craft, materiality and the creation of a new London landmark.

CAMELLIA

A film following the creation of James Capper’s Camellia sculpture for Rotherham town centre - tracing its journey from concept to fabrication. Through a blend of interviews and workshop observation, it reflects the craft, community and collaboration behind bringing a new public artwork to life.
