PAINTING MACHINES observes James Capper’s engineered sculptures as they explore colour through movement and controlled force. The film offers a quiet study of how he expands his sculptural language through making and motion, while capturing the unique place and process in which the work unfolds.

Kendall Street offers a quiet study of a newly reimagined family home by Shone Sanders Studio. The film moves through light, texture, and proportion, revealing the clarity and warmth underpinning the studio’s approach to contemporary interior design.

To evoke a sense of lived experience, we paired observational camerawork with layered sound design and the subtle presence of a model - suggesting the rhythms of daily life and how the spaces might feel when inhabited.

A film following architect Julian de Metz through the transformation of Chancery House - a heritage building reimagined by dMFK and Norm Architects. From interventions that honour its past to spaces shaped by light and human scale, it explores how design balances memory with modernity.

Currently showing at the Royal Academy of Arts, this film documents MONITOR — a nomadic studio conceived by James Capper with Thomas Pearce and Greg Storrar. Commissioned by IZOLYATSIA, it traces the prototype’s creation and the vision for a mobile workspace supporting artists in and around Kyiv.
