All Work

Shown at London's prestigious art institution, the Royal Academy of Arts, MONITOR is a film documenting an ambitious nomadic studio conceived by artist James Capper, with designer Thomas Pearce and architect Greg Storrar. Commissioned by Ukrainian arts foundation IZOLYATSIA, the project envisions a mobile workspace for artists working in and around Kyiv.

The film traces the development of the MONITOR prototype - how it was conceived, engineered, and built, and why it seeks to exist. The full-scale structure will be designed to move, to house, and to adapt. Engineered through robotic sheet-forming and inspired by reptilian locomotion, it will walk on four hydraulic legs across rough terrain, water, and ice.

It was a privilege to work with such forward-thinking collaborators and to tell the story of a project that sits at the intersection of art, engineering, and necessity.

the Making of Soho Place

The final film in our series, The Making of Soho Place brings together the four material stories - steel, concrete, travertine, and wood - and the musical threads that scored them. Set against the epic scale of construction at 1 Oxford Street, it reflects the collaboration and craft behind the new London landmark.
