All Work

Max Mayo, Monsters & Mayhem

MAX MAYO, MONSTERS & MAYHEM documents a mother and son painting side by side in their garden spontaneous, unplanned, and entirely free. The film observes colour, gesture and intuition at work, capturing the particular energy that emerges when two people make art simply for the love of it.

Billie Justice Thomson is a visual artist whose practice explores nostalgia and sentimentality through everyday Australian imagery. Marvin is eight, and enjoys monster trucks. Together, the work they made is looser, more alive, and more surprising than either would have arrived at alone.

CAMELLIA

A film following the creation of James Capper’s Camellia sculpture for Rotherham town centre - tracing its journey from concept to fabrication. Through a blend of interviews and workshop observation, it reflects the craft, community and collaboration behind bringing a new public artwork to life.
